Guangjie Han (Fellow, IEEE) is currently a Professor with the Department of Internet of Things Engineering, Hohai University, Changzhou, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2004. In February 2008, he finished his work as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Computer Science, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea. From October 2010 to October 2011, he was a Visiting Research Scholar with Osaka University, Suita, Japan. From January 2017 to February 2017, he was a Visiting Professor with City University of Hong Kong, China. From July 2017 to July 2020, he was a Distinguished Professor with Dalian University of Technology, China. His current research interests include Internet of Things, Industrial Internet, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Computing, Security and Privacy.

Dr. Han has over 500 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, in addition to 160 granted and pending patents. Currently, his H-index is 59 and i10-index is 249 in Google Citation (Google Scholar). The total citation count of his papers raises above 12900+ times.

Dr. Yongsheng Ma has joined Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen, China since July, 2021 as a full professor. Before that, Dr. Ma had been a full professor with the University of Alberta (UA) since 2007. He was an associate professor with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore during 2000-2007. Dr. Ma started his career as a polytechnic lecturer in Singapore (1993-1996); and then a research fellow, senior research fellow and group manager (1996-2000) at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology.

Dr. Ma received his B.Eng. from Tsinghua University, Beijing (1986), both M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from UMIST, UK. Dr. Ma has had an established research profile with many research projects from different sources, and published more than 200 papers internationally in recognized top journals, conferences, and book chapters. Dr. Ma had served as an Editorial Board Member of Advanced Engineering Informatics (ADVEI, Elsevier) since 2012, and became an associate editor since 2020. Concurrently, he also serves as an associate editor for ASME Journal of Computer Information Science and Engineering (JCISE), and an Editorial Member of Scientific Reports (Springer Nature). Dr. Ma had also been an associate editor of IEEE Transaction of Automation Science and Engineering (2009-2013). Dr. Ma is a member of ASEE, SME, SPE, ASME, CSME and a Canada (Alberta) registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) since 2009. In 2012, he won the prestigious ASTech award sponsored by The Alberta Science and Technology Leadership Foundation together with Drader Manufacturing Ltd. Dr. Ma had also served as a senator of UA during 2014-2016.

Prof. Jianping Gou focuses on research in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, and pattern recognition. His current research interests include large model technologies (large model compression), as well as theoretical and applied research in smart agriculture, smart healthcare, and smart construction. His specific research directions involve: computer vision representation and classification, cross-modal large model distillation, large language model distillation, large model quantization distillation, graph model distillation, federated distillation, and medical ultrasound reconstruction.

He has been selected for the Jiangsu Province University Qinglan Project Outstanding Young Academic Teacher Training Candidate, the China Postdoctoral International Exchange Program, and the Chongqing Returnee Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support Program. He serves as an Executive Member of the Multimedia Technical Committee, the Computer Vision Technical Committee, the Embodied Intelligence Technical Committee, and the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. He is an IEEE Senior Member, CSIG Senior Member, and CCF Senior Member. He has published over 170 academic papers in domestic and international journals and conferences, including IJCV, ACM/IEEE Trans, etc., with more than 120 papers indexed by SCI. Several of his papers have been recognized as Highly Cited Papers, with a single paper receiving over 6,000 Google citations and remaining an ESI Highly Cited Paper for seven consecutive years.
